OUR SERVICES
Our projects and programs focus on helping towns, communities, and industry groups enact environmental and social projects. What’s a good project for us? Making improvements and supporting initiatives that help people get out of the house and re-engage society at parks, businesses, event spaces, and other popular “third places.” Think of all the farms and parks, historic churches and gardens, breweries and vineyards advancing the social and environmental role of their spaces where the community meets. We want to enhance and prepare these settings for whatever may come in the future, so they can continue to grow as the base stages of a healthy, engaged community.

Whether spaces are privately- or publicly owned, we want people back outside, rebuilding connections.

Facade Improvement Program
Green roofs, permeable pavers, bio-swales, rain gardens, living walls... all are innovative and interesting ways that society is adapting to the demands brought on by climate change and resource conservation. Common Resilience Partners has a network of contractors as well as experience in project management to ensure that green infrastructure projects are completed in time and cost-effective ways.
Community development programs and resilience-based projects are often publicly subsidized, but funding includes regulations and lots of administrative duties. Understaffed towns don’t have time to write applications, find contractors, and file reports… but we do. CRP helps you manage grant funding programs and prioritize resources in order to ensure they meet the desired impacts.
To remain competitive, farms and small businesses need to adopt sustainable practices, and we’ve supported hundreds of businesses.
Agricultural and natural resource-based businesses in Maryland are some of the oldest, longest-lasting businesses; they are also the ones leading the way when it comes to responsible environmental practices and resource use. We help develop agri-business in ways that improve the business, the community, and the environment where they belong.
Resilient communities mean more than energy efficient buildings and flood control landscapes; the social, cultural, and historical aspects are key in helping to engage neighbors. We focus on protecting an promoting historical sites, features, and buildings so they may continue to contribute to a community's identity.
Climate change continues to present challenges- natural disasters and environmental hazards, its important that communities work to prevent issues and mitigate damage when prevention isn't possible. We help communities enact plans to be ready for the worst, and poised to quickly recover.
